Both battery options insert into a sealed and secure repository on the back of the
system and sit flush, thereby ensuring the battery is an integral part of the overall
system and does not protrude or extend outside of the mechanical structure
The batteries are user/field-replaceable via a quick lock/unlock mechanism for
expedited replacement
Warm swap battery support – The iX104C5 also has a 6-cell bridge battery that
provides 3-51 minutes of life (full charge) – ample time to replace batteries while
in field
Physical battery health meters are integrated into each of the batteries and a
software-based meter is also resident on the system
Digital, 3 megapixel auto-focus camera – fixed position

Rear facing – supports a variety of documentation, proof-of-performance based

The iX104C5 screen is the view finder – provides a big, bright image with maximum
user control via tablet alignment to maximize image capture results

and LCD brightness is minimized

The iX104C5 has been designed for maximum I/O flexibility and applicability to
address the needs of typical field service and military personnel:
Standard serial port (RS-232) – supports connectivity to legacy devices which
remain critical for select field personnel
Signal-ready RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 I/O capabilities via side-band pin and
pad connection – supports military and field service connectivity needs
USB pin and pad expansion modules on the iX104C5 support Xplore's dedicated GPS
module and future expansion needs to meet specific customer applications
