PROVEN RUGGED IN THE REAL WORLD
RUGGED DESIGN
The iX104C5 is rigorously tested independently and certified by third-party facilities to ensure reliable
performance in demanding and harsh environments. Xplore's rugged products undergo testing and validation
based on "The Military Standard for Environmental Testing and Engineering Guidelines" (MIL-STD-810G). MIL-
STD-810G is used for determining the effects of natural and induced (man-made) environments on products
intended for use in harsh mobile environments. It includes guidance for accelerated or aggravated testing
during the design process to assess product suitability for the environmental conditions anticipated throughout
its lifecycle. Departments and agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense have approved it for use.
It is important to note that although companies may claim MIL-STD-810G design elements, Xplore has
documented these test parameters and results, and warranties its products to these published specifications.
More importantly, Xplore has deployed approximately one hundred thousand of its rugged systems (since
inception) to customers worldwide and is recognized in the industry as an innovative leader in the field.
Xplore's products have been tested in real-world applications as Xplore's global network of satisfied
customers expands across a variety of vertical markets.
The rugged Xplore iX104 C5 is designed, tested and backed to meet the following specifications, which
closely approximate the varied application conditions to which our products are exposed.
