TABLET INPUTS
The iX104C5 features a custom-engineered auto-sensing 10.4" dual-mode display that features Xplore's
innovative Allvue Xtreme technology, delivering industry-leading outdoor/indoor viewability. Together, these
innovations enhance viewability in work settings that span from bright sunlight to ambient conditions and
provide input flexibility that supports both passive finger touch and active pen (digitizer) inputs all on-the-
go with no user intervention. The result is outstanding usability for field workers and front line personnel
that operate in extreme conditions and require flexible means of accessing, inputting and editing informa-
tion while mobile as part of their daily tasks.

TECHNOLOGIES
Auto-sensing dual-mode inductive digitizer design – automatically and instantly
recognizes multiple types of inputs on the fly:
Resistive touch supports finger touch (glove or native)
Active proximity sensing digitizer supports active pen inputs
Active 9 mm digital pen has no batteries, is cordless and constructed from high
quality materials, is anchored to the system via a thin but durable Kevlar tether, and
housed in snap repository that is readily available to users
Emerging vertical market applications provide an increasing array of capabilities,
each of which is suited to specific inputs – larger icons for quick links (touch) and/
or forms and reports (pen) – the iX104C5 provides maximum user input flexibility to
address these unique needs
Polarized, 5-wire digitizer enhances durability and longevity
Stable, drift-free performance
Software control panel allows for user customization across multiple variables –
calibration methods, default modes, left/right handed priority, etc.
10.4" XGA (1024x768), LED display
Xplore's new Allvue Xtreme provides 2x brightness from prior models and offers the
best outdoor/indoor viewability in its class
Optically-engineered display stack includes the use of scratch-resistant polarizing
films
Wide viewing cone up to 89º off center, 168º viewing cone, provides expansive fields
of view
High contrast ratio (typical 600:1) for sharper images and text
Automatic Light Sensor (ALS) adjusts backlights based on ambient conditions for
user convenience and battery life maintenance
Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) compatible (high/low settings)
The iX104C5 adapts to the environment – sunlight/ambient – which is mandatory
for many field-based applications
