Maintenance
•
Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
•
Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish. A cloth or other protective material should be placed between it
and the furniture.
•
Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzine, thinner or similar materials can
damage the surface of the unit.
Troubleshooting
Symptom
The unit gets warm after operation.
i277 does not turn on.
iPod does not fit into the built-in
universal dock.
Possible Problem
This is normal.
The AC adapter may not be inserted securely into
the wall outlet or into the power supply jack located
on the back of the unit.
Wall outlet is not functioning.
Using incorrect dock adapter for your iPod.
iPod was not secured properly.
Solution
Lower the volume or power off the unit and let it rest.
Insert the AC adapter fully into a wall outlet and then plug
the connector into the supply jack on the unit.
To confirm the outlet is functional, plug another device into
the same outlet and see if it operates correctly.
Be certain that the dock adapter is correct for your iPod.
Take your iPod out of the dock. Look for any obstructions on
the connector in the dock and on your iPod. Once completed
and everything is secured, place your iPod back into the
built-in universal dock.
