PARTS AND DISPLAY INDICATORS

Glucose Meter

MINI USB PORT
Charge the meter through
provided USB cable.
LED DISPLAY
Glucose test results.
symbols and messages
appear here.
STRIP PORT
Insert the test strip
into the strip port to
automatically turn on
the meter.
Memory Button
Located in the side of the meter,
It is used to turn on the meter and
view past test results.
Eject Button
Located at the back side of the
meter. It is used to automatically
remove the test strip .

Blood Sample Symbol
Flashes when it is ready
to apply the sample.
CTL SYMBOL
Appears when doing a
control test and indicates
that the result won't be
stored in the memory.
LOW BATTERY SYMBOL
Appears when the battery is low.

Blood Glucose Test Strip

Each test strip is intended for single use only and should be
discarded immediately after use Test strips consist of the
following parts:
NOTE: Only use iHealth Blood Glucose Test Strip with the
iHealth Wireless Smart Gluco-Monitoring System (BG5).
Other test strips may produce inaccurate results.

SETUP PROCEDURES

Prior to the first use, set the meter time by connecting the
meter with your iOS device via Bluetooth. Complete the
steps below to have your desired time settings saved in the
meter.
BLUETOOTH SYMBOL
Appears when the meter is
connected with iOS device
through Bluetooth function.
Test Result Display
Displays glucose results.
MEASUREMENT UNIT
Appears with the test result
either in mg/dL or mmol/L.
Absorbent Hole
Confirmation window
Test strip handle
