Annual control - first time after approx. 3 months:
1.
Open safety valve. Check that water flows freely to drain. Close valve.
2.
Anode (if fitted): Shut off mains water supply and release pressure by opening a HW tap. Check
anode, replace if necessary. Anode is checked by unscrewing CW and HW feed pipes to UX
valve and unscrew the valve from the water heater. Lift valve and check anode pipe. Install new
pipe if anode material has been eroded away.
3.
Check that pipe connections and heating element in el. box are not dripping. Shut off power
supply before removing el. box cover! At the same time check el. connections. Tighten if neces-
sary. Refit el. box cover before turning power supply on.

Troubleshooting:

Not enough hot water: Turn knob on UX valve fully open. Check power supply. Press reset button
(see el. connection on p. 7) turn off power supply first! Check heating element. Check for leaks in
taps or pipes (hissing noise in water heater when all taps are closed).
SV 9 bar dripping: CW pressure exceeds 6 bar. Install reduction valve and an AX12 exp. vessel if
necessary. Alternatively replace safety valve.
