Caring for the filters
Grease filters
The Grease Fitters are located be-
neath the microwave oven. These
filters should be removed and cleaned
at least once a month.
1. To remove the filters:
Place
thumb in the indentation at the
center front of the fitter. Push back
and pull down.
2. To clean the filters:
Soak in hot
water and a mild detergent. Scrub
with soft brush and swish to remove
embedded dirt and grease. Rinse
well and shake to dry.
NOTE:
Filters may be washed in
the dishwasher,
but aluminum will
darken. Using ammonia for dean-
ing will also cause the aluminum to
darken.
3. To replace the fitters:
Place the
long edge of the filter against the
clips at the back and push up until it
snaps into place.
