The manual does not provide direct instructions for lighting the flame on a Thermann 26NG50C. However, it includes troubleshooting steps for combustion issues and installation procedures. To ensure the unit operates correctly, check the combustion indicator LED, verify the cascade installation settings, and ensure proper wiring and dip switch configurations. If the unit does not ignite, follow the troubleshooting flowchart or consult a licensed plumber.

  • Page 12: Condensate Drain

Thermann Installer's Manual Gas Continuous Flow Condensing Water Heaters CONDENSATE DRAIN This unit generates condensate continuously at a rate of up to 5 litres per hour as a by- product of the highly efficient gas burner system. This condensate must be drained via a pipe to a suitable point of discharge. As the condensate is a by-product of gas combustion, it is mildly acidic.
  • Page 13 CONDENSATE DRAIN INSTALLATION 1. The drain line MUST NOT discharge onto electrical connections, earth stakes, copper pipes, concrete paths or into a pond. 2. The point of discharge from each drain line shall be located so that the release of condensate does not cause a nuisance, is readily discernable and incurs no risk of damage to the building.
