The "Install New Modem" window is now in the foreground and the list box of
modems includes the coM.sat ISDN Basic. After pressing the "Next" key the serial
port (e.g. COM port (COM 1)) must be selected, via which the communications with
the coM.sat ISDN Basic are to be made later. If "Next" is then clicked on in this
window, the modem is installed. The end of the installation is confirmed by the
message "The modem is now configured" and concluded by pressing the "Finish"
button. The coM.sat ISDN Basic is now included in the Modem Properties window.

Then the fax program can be installed by following the manufacturer's instructions
and documentation. When entering the modem to be used, select coM.sat ISDN
Basic.
Note: Within the WinFax Pro application, the best results were achieved when
transmitting fax messages to the coM.sat ISDN Basic when the ECM for receiving
option and the High Speed Compression (2D) option were switched off and the
maximum baud rate was set to 9600 Bd.

4.5.2 Send fax messages

If the installation has been carried out as described above and WinFax Pro has been
set up, a fax message can now be sent directly from a word processing program, e.g.
