NS-SB216 Using the remote control 1 Remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment before using the remote control for the first time. 2 Point the remote control directly at the IR sensor on the front of the soundbar. You must be within approximately 23 ft. (7 m) of the soundbar.

You can also attach the soundbar to a suitably equipped articulating flat-panel TV wall mount via the threaded inserts on the rear panel.
