Settings when using external devices

Controlling HDMI devices

This system is using the HDMI CEC (Consumer
Electronics Control) technology.
What you can do with CEC capable
using HDMI devices
4 Single remote control operation
The TV automatically recognises the connected HDMI
devices and you can use the remote control provided
with this TV to control the TV and the relative devices
at the same time. (See page 63 to 67)
NOTE
• Point the remote control toward the TV, not to the
connected HDMI device.
• Video noise may occur depending on the type of HDMI
cable used. Make sure to use a certified HDMI cable.
• These operations affect the HDMI device selected as the
current input source. If the device does not operate, turn
on the device and select the appropriate input source
using b (INPUT SOURCE) on the remote control unit or
INPUT on the TV.
• When you insert/remove HDMI cables or change
connections, turn on all connected HDMI devices before
turning on the TV. Confirm that picture and audio are
correctly output by selecting "HDMI 1", "HDMI 2", "HDMI
3(ARC)" or "HDMI 4" from the "INPUT SOURCE" menu.

Audio select for connecting HDMI

When connecting HDMI to the HDMI 2 terminal, and
inputting analogue audio signals from the AUDIO IN
terminal.
Go to "MENU" s "Setup" s "Option" s "Terminal
setting" s "Audio select".

NOTE
• When connecting an DVI-HDMI conversion adaptor/cable
to HDMI 2 terminal, you must set to "HDMI+Analogue". If
"HDMI (Digital)" is set, there will be no sound output.

Using b (INPUT SOURCE) on the remote control
unit or INPUT on the TV.
INPUT allows you to choose from the available input
sources.

input source.
• The image and sound from the selected source
are output on the TV.
