SATA Mode Selection
This item allows you to set the SATA configuration.
[AHCI]
Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to
use the AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI
allows the onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial
ATA features that increases storage performance on random
workloads by allowing the drive to internally optimize the order
of commands.
[RAID]
Set to [RAID] when you want to create a RAID configuration
from the SATA hard disk drives.
NOTE: The following item appears only when you set the SATA Mode
Selection to [RAID].
M.2/U.2 PCIE Storage RAID Support
This item allows you to enable or disable PCIe port to SATA for RAID
Remapping.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

Aggressive LPM Support

This item is designed for LPM (link power management) support with a better
energy saving conditions. When set to [Enabled], the hot plug function of SATA
ports are disabled.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
SMART Self Test
SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring
system that shows a warning message during POST (Power-On Self Test) when
an error occurs in the hard disks.
Configuration options: [On] [Off]
SATA6G_1 / SATA6G_2 / M.2
SATA6G_1 / SATA6G_2 / M.2
This item allows you to enable or disable the selected SATA port.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Hot Plug
These items appears only when the SATA Mode Selection is set to
[AHCI] and allows you to enable or disable SATA Hot Plug Support.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
