Luggage compartment
The luggage compartm ent is accessible
throug h the rear flap . See section " Rear
flap" .
Vehicles with hinged rear seat backrest
To enl arge luggage space :
• Release backre st by pull ing loop on right
• Fold backrest down to seat
• Pull strap out of trim panel under seat and
hook it into the eye on the back at the top.
The length of the strap can be adju sted by
moving the slide and hook on the strap.
The backrest locks automatically when
hinged to the rear.
When maki ng full use of the load capacity of
your vehicle the fo llowing should be noted:
• Secure the lug gage to prevent itfrom slid ­
ing forward when braking suddenly, and
• Make su re that the heating element of the
rear window will not be damaged by
cases rubbin g agai nst it.
If head restraints are fitted they must be
taken off before fo lding the backrest down.
