To select the supply type:
1. Tap the printer icon from the Status Bar.
Tap Load Supply. An hourglass appears briefly, then you see

3. Select the Supply type you are using:
Supply Type
Paper
Fax
Synthetic
4. Tap Feed to advance a label or Calibrate to register the black mark.
