The dust and pollen filter removes
pollen and dust that is brought in
from the outside through the heating
and cooling system/climate control
system.
This filter should be replaced during
scheduled maintenance. On EU
models, refer to the maintenance
schedule in the Service Book that
came with your car. On other models,
see the maintenance schedules in
this owner's manual.
The dust and pollen filter should be
replaced at short intervals if you
drive primarily in urban areas that
have high concentrations of soot in
the air from industry and diesel-
powered vehicles. Replace it more
often if air flow from the heating and
cooling system/climate control
system becomes less than usual.
Dust and Pollen Filter (For some types)
Replacement
The dust and pollen filter is located
behind the glove box.
To replace it:
1. Open the glove box.
Push
STOP
2. Push the stop on the passenger's
side of the glove box to detach it
from the glove box.
3. Disengage the tabs by pushing on
each side panel, then pivot the
glove box out of the way.
