Subwoofer controls

Subwoofer rear panel
 Frequency
Use this control to set the crossover frequency be-
tween the subwoofer's bass signal and the bass fre-
quencies of the other speakers. If you are using an
AV receiver, set the receiver's crossover frequency
to 80 Hz and turn the subwoofer's frequency con-
trol to maximum(hard right).
 Line Out
Use these audio sockets to pass the incoming signal
from the "Line In" on to a second subwoofer (of the
same type if possible).
 Line In
Connect the AV receiver's "Sub Out" to the subwoof-
er's "Line In" using a mono cinch cable (optionally
with an additional Y adapter).
 High Level Out/In
Use these speaker terminals to connect the
subwoofer to the speaker outputs from a con-
ventional stereo amplifier ("In"). If required, you
can also pass the amplifier signal on to another
loudspeaker("Out").
 Mains power switch
Switch to "I" to power up the subwoofer; switch to
"0" to power it down.
 Fuse
This is where the mains power fuse is located(see
page 16).
 Mains power socket
Plug in the mains power cable here.
What the icons mean
The lightning/arrow symbol
inside an equilateral triangle
informs the user
about the possibility
of a dangerous, non-isolated
electrical current
inside the device housing,
indicating the risk of
electrical shock.
The exclamation mark within
the equilateral triangle,
which can be seen on the
back of the unit, indicates
that there is important
operating and service
information for the
user to read.

The "wastebin" symbol printed
on the type plates and amplifier
labels of our products signifies
that Lautsprecher Teufel ensures
