Skip play
To skip to track 6 while track 3 is playing, press the
F/ ›~
button
repeatedly
until "06 appears in TRACK on the display.
To skip back to track 3 while track 6 is playing, press the l<< /4<
button
repeatedly until "03 appears.
Search (forward/reverse)
If the
F/
N or !44/4<
button is pressed during play, the player will
search at high speed in the forward or reverse direction while the button
is being pressed. When the button is released, normal play will continue.
Introscan
In the stop mode, press the INTRO button to play the first 10 seconds of
each track. "INTRO
appears on the display.
Press the INTRO button again to return to normal play.
Random play
1.
In the stop mode, press the RANDOM button. "RANDOM" appears on
the display.
Note:
If "RANDOM"
is blinking,
the programmed
tracks are retained
in
memory and random function cannot be set.
To set random function, press the MEMORY button, then the STOP
to clear the programme.
Press the RANDOM button again.
2.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to begin random play. The player will
automatically
select and play tracks on the disc at random.
Press the RANDOM button again to return to normal play.
If the RANDOM button is pressed during normal play, random play will
start with the next track on the disc.
Repeat play
Before or during play, press the REPEAT button repeatedly to select the
desired repeat mode in the following sequence. The selected repeat mode
is shown on the display.

Repeat all tracks on the disc

REPEAT (blinking): Repeat one track

None: Normal play mode
Time display selection
Press the TIME button during normal play. The display changes in the
following sequence:

Remaining
time for the entire disc

Elapsed time for the current track
PROGRAMMED
PLAY
Up to 20 selections on a disc can be programmed
for play in any order.
First, select "CD and load the disc that you want to programme.
-
The tracks must be programmed
in the stop mode.
-
The same track can be programmed
more than once.
-
If the OPEN/CLOSE
button is pressed, the function is changed or the
unit is turned off, the programme
is cleared.
Example:
To programme tracks 5 and 12

Press the MEMORY button.
(When using the remote control)

Press the 5 button to programme
track 5.

Note:
If the next step is not taken within
10 seconds
in steps 1 -3,
"MEMORY"
disappears
and the programming
mode is cancelled.
Press the MEMORY button to continue.
Allow several seconds to elapse. The original display returns.
More selections can be programmed
in the same way.
Press the MEMORY button. "TRACK" and "MEMORY"
blink on the
display.
While "TRACK
and "MEMORY"
are blinking,
press the
PLAY/PAUSE
button to start the programmed
play.

When all programmed
selections
have played,
the player stops
automatically.
The programme
contents are retained in memory.
Up to 20 selections
can be programmed.
If you tray to enter more
selections, the display indicates still "P-20
and programming
ends.
The player will enter the checking or changing programme
mode.
Note:
If the STOP button is pressed in the programming
mode ("TRACK
and
"MEMORY"
are blinking), the programme
is cleared.
Checking the programme
Each time the MEMORY
button is pressed in the stop mode, the pro-
grammed details sequentially
appear on the display.
Changing a programme
To add a new selection
to a programme:
1.
In the stop mode, press the MEMORY
button repeatedly until "00"
is displayed in TRACK on the display.
2.
Select a track number as explained above.
To change a selection:
1.
In the stop mode, press the MEMORY
button repeatedly
until the
selection to be replaced is displayed.
2.
Select a track number as explained above.
Note:
Programmed
details cannot be partially deleted or inserted.
Clearing the memory
Press the MEMORY button, then the STOP.
