4.3 Configuring the Windows Ethernet interface
Entering the selected IP address in your STEP 7 project
If you choose a different IP address, subnet mask, or gateway for the Ethernet interface, you
must configure this IP address or other parameters for the SIMATIC Embedded Bundles and
for the IE General properties in STEP 7. To configure the IP address in STEP 7, follow these
steps:
1. Right-click IE General in PC Station index 3 in the hardware configuration of your
