■ Remote control
Problem
The remote control

The batteries are weak.
The batteries do not last long and get
quickly exhausted.
The operation mode selector is set

The control zone setting is incorrect.
The remote control code is not correctly
set.
The remote control ID of the remote
control and this unit do not match.
Even if the remote control code is
correctly set, there are some models that
do not respond to the remote control.

Cause
The remote control will function within a maximum

Set the backlight mode to "OFF".
Set the operation mode selector correctly. When
operating this unit, set it to the F AMP position.
When operating the component selected by the input
selector button, set it to the F SOURCE position.
When operating the TV set in the 3 TV area, set it to
the F TV position.
Select the zone you want to control.
Set the remote control code correctly using
"List of remote control codes" at the end of this
manual.
Try setting another code of the same manufacturer
using "List of remote control codes" at the end of this
manual.
Match the remote control ID of this unit and the
remote control.
Program the necessary functions independently into
the programmable buttons using the Learn feature.
Replace the batteries.
Place the remote controls at the proper distance.
Learning is not possible.
Delete other unnecessary functions to make room for
the new functions.
