FACTS RELATED WITH EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL

The exhaust gas of an Engine pollutes air with such gases which are very dangerous for mankind. In order to ensure
clean and healthy environment, strict regulations have been enforced to control pollution. As per regulations 'CO'
emissions by petrol driven Two Wheelers must be less than 3.5% (by volume) during Idling of the Engine.

Please note that when new, the Vehicle has a Factory tuned Carburetor, where the Air Screw is optimally adjusted to
meet the requirement of exhaust emission. This screw must not be tampered with as it may cause variation in pre-
controlled 'CO' emission levels. Subsequently, it becomes very important that it should always be within the recom-
mended limit, when checked by a properly calibrated 'CO' Measuring Equipment.
