The minitransporter is a working machine, only adults can use it. The KGFC 350 and 500 minitransporters have been planned for an outdoor use, in private areas. Assisted clutch lever The clutch lever on the right is assisted, which means that when the lever is released transmission disengages from the engine and thus the machine stops. Fig. 6 Recoil start The machine is equipped with manual recoil start: the switch is placed on the left, as shown above. Moreover, a start key allows only authorized users to operate the machine: the key can be turned in the two-position lock. On OFF position (O) the key can be turned and released, in this case the engine is off and the machine cannot be used;... - Page 21 Fig. 8 Gasoline tap and starter control The starter control is useful to enrich the gasoline/air mixture for starting the engine in cold weather. After starting, move the starter back to off position The emergency switch, if pressed, blocks immediately the engine, disconnects the spark plug and stops any machine movement.
- Page 22 Low speed must be selected to engage reverse gear. Serious injuries can be caused to users if reverse gear is at high speed. After choosing high or low speed, the machine will move forward or in reverse by pressing the top right lever of clutch. For a smooth start, press the clutch lever slowly, then accelerate by using the appropriate lever.
- Page 23 When the clutch is engaged, the minitrnsporter normally moves forward. If you want to turn, pull the lever under the handlebars towards right if you want to turn right or towards left if you want to turn lef. The more you pull on the lever, the more sudden the machine turns.

Page 30: Before Starting
The first running hours are fundamental to get engine and other moving parts adjust their plays. Moreover a safe driving conduct is necessary, without sudden acceleration and without running the engine at high rotations per minute. A good running-in period during the first two weeks is the best way to extend the KGFC minitransporter life span. -

Page 34: Loading And Unloading The Machine
Danger of injury Do not overload dumper with a mass higher than the max load allowed. Do not load bulky items that block the view. Load and upload the dumper on a flat ground, with braked transmission. You can load the dumper manually or by mechanical means, distribuite load evenly on the platform. -
Page 35: Steering
Drivers must adjust speed to the ground conditions, being careful of other people nearby. Keep safety distance from other means. Above all, when turning or driving on uneven grounds, always keep moderate speed. It is extremely important to get used to operating the machine before speeding it up. -
Page 36: Uphill And Downhill Mode
Uphill and downhill modes must be adopted with estreme care, above all uphill at full load. Try to be careful anyway with both modes. Page 38: Daily Maintenance And Inspections
Check that the CE mark is on place and legible together with the warning labels placed on the machine. 1. Turn the fuel tank cap counterclockwise, then remove the fuel cap. 2. Check the fuel level at sight or with the dipstick inside the tank. 3. -
Page 39: Inspecting Tracks
Check track conditions: no cuts, cracks, foreign substances, small pieces or other damages must be visibile. Apply this procedure when tracks are eccessively worn. To replace tracks, the engine must be switched off, the machine must rest on the track inner part on a stable raised surface. -
Page 40: Weekly Maintenance And Inspections
Machine cleaning is not only a matter of decorum, it also allows to detect immediately possible faults, such as gasoline leakage or any impairments. In order to avoid damages or impairments in the machine components, above all electric equipment, clean with water from a bucket and a sponge. -
Page 41: Inspecting Transmission Oil
1. Remove side cap . 2. inspect oil level if it is low fill in (oil cup may contain about 2 l) Danger of injury ALWAYS check the oil when engine is off and cold! You may be burnt from hot parts. Check that cables are functioning and are clumped: sheaths of electric cables must be functioning and terminals tighten firmly, not corroded, and... - Page 42 3. Visually inspect if spark plug is worn and ceramic parts are not chipped or damaged (in case of damages, replace the spark plug with a new one). 4. Clean the spark plug with a wire brush.

Fig. 22 Air filter The unit frame and its weldings must be free of visible faults such as cracks, bucklings, holes, corrosions, etc. Make sure that all bolts and tracks are well tightened. Check that all panel hooks are efficient and support the frame when the panels are locked. -

1. Remove air filter by releasing the hooks. 2. Insert a clean rag in the air duct to avoid any dirt from outside. 3. Replace air filter with a new one. 1. Replace used oil when engine is still warm: warm oil is easier and faster to drain. -

Non percorrere pendenze eccessivamente ripide (oltre 35° ). Evitare le pendenze con il cassone carico. Non caricare il cassone con un carico superiore a quello per cui è stato progettato. Distribuire il carico uniformemente nel cassone, cominciando dalla parte vicino al posto guida, per evitare ribaltamenti in avanti. -

1. Ogni intervento di manutenzione deve avvenire su superficie pianeggiante e resistente, possibilmente a motore spento, con un cingolo bloccato. 2. In caso di interventi di manutenzione con il motore acceso, prestare la massima attenzione e limitare allo stretto necessario il tempo di permanenza all’interno di ambienti chiusi. -

Leva frizione a comando mantenuto La leva della frizione sulla destra è un comando ad azione mantenuta: cioè quando è rilasciata la leva la trasmissione si scollega dal motore e la macchina si ferma. Figura 6 Avviatore a corda La macchina è dotata di avviamento manuale a corda: la manopola per l’avviamento è posta sul lato sinistro della macchina, come mostrato nella foto sovrastante. In aggiunta, è presente una chiave di accensione per consentire l’utilizzo solo alle persone autorizzate: la chiave va inserita in un apposito blocchetto a due posizioni. - Page 73 Figura 8 Rubinetto benzina e comando starter Il comando dello starter è utile per arricchire la miscela di benzina aria durante l’avviamento del motore in clima freddo. Dopo l’avviamento portare nuovamente il comando dello starter in posizione disinserita. Il pulsante d’emergenza, se premuto, interrompe immediatamente il funzionamento del motore, togliendo corrente alla candela d’accensione.
- Page 74 Movimento della macchina È obbligatorio procedere in retromarcia solo quando è inserita la marcia ridotta. Uno spostamento troppo veloce della macchina in retromarcia può provocare danni anche gravi all’operatore. Dopo avere inserito un rapporto di trasmissione, normale o ridotta, in marcia avanti o in retromarcia, l'avanzamento avviene premendo la leva superiore destra della frizione.
