3.1 Removal Procedures

Open the paper exit section [2] while releasing the lever M6
[1] at the bottom.
Loosen the screw [3] (1 piece).

Pull out the fixing plate [1] forward.

Holding the handles on the front and rear sides [2] of EF-103
[1] with both hands, slide EF-103 [1] forward to the position
of the arrow mark.
Please be careful when working on the fusing unit; EF-103 is
extremely hot.

Holding the handles on the front and rear sides [2] of EF-103
[1] with both hands, remove EF-103 [1].
Place the removed EF-103 on the flat surface.

Take out the stored fusing unit from the package.
NOTICE
Make sure that the exit section is open before setting the
fusing unit to the machine. When you try to set the fusing
unit with the exit guide unit closed, the machine may be
damaged.
