Remove damaged control rod from de-ice
valve and control actuator. If extremely
cold weather, secure de-ice valve control
lever in open position by tying the lever
to an adjacent part of the engine nose
area. If hot weather, secure valve in
closed position with safety wire.
2.
Record BDAR action taken.
