Pull the cutout tool out of the wall just enough to move bit over the side of
the electrical box. As soon as you feel that the bit is on the outside of the
electrical box, push the bit into the wall keeping it in contact with the wall of
the box.
NOTE: Do not allow the bit to cut beyond the edge of the box. The cover plate
may not cover the cut.

Use the electrical box as a template and move the Cutout Tool in a counter-
clockwise direction. Maintain a slight pressure against the side of the
electrical box and complete the cutout (Figs. 11-14).

As soon as cutout is complete, turn Cutout Tool "OFF" and remove it from
the wall. Allow the bit to come to a complete stop before putting the tool
down.

Install an appropriate bit (see "TO INSTALL AND REMOVE BIT").
Figs. 11 thru 14) to prevent accidental electrical shock resulting from
cutting a live wire.

Mark the outline of required cutouts on the work surface.
2.
Turn the Cutout Tool "ON".
3.
Hold the Cutout Tool firmly with both hands. Position the tool perpendicular
to the work surface with the bit tip inside the "cut" area, and push until the
bit penetrates the workpiece.
4.
Move the Cutout Tool around the marked area to complete the cutout.
As soon as cut is complete, turn the Cutout Tool "OFF" and remove it from

the wall. Allow the bit to come to a complete stop before putting the tool
down.

Disconnect all electrical circuits within the "cut" area.
