    3 is approximately 18,000 RPM. OVERLOAD PROTECTION MODEL 7529 is equipped with a current sensing-type overload protector built into the variable speed control. This device will “trip” and turn the motor off if it experiences prolonged overloading. To restart the motor, turn off either switch and turn it back on.

Generally speaking, when working on a bench,use clamps to hold the workpiece. When routing edges, hold the router firmly down and against the work by both handles.
