Integrated 10G FC License (Lenovo B6510 only): Allows 10 Gb FC operations on up to eight 16 Gb

FC ports for metro connectivity by directly utilizing a fiber-optic cable between sites or by creating

multiple channels on an optical cable between sites, utilizing Wave Division Multiplexing (WDM)

technology (the Extended Fabric license is NOT required for long distance 10 Gb FC connectivity).

The following table lists ordering information for the optional software features for the Lenovo B6505 and

B6510 (one software license per switch).

Software subscription and maintenance is included with the Lenovo B6505 and B6510 and provides 3-year

software support with the option to extend it up to 7 years in 1-year or 2-year increments.

Notes:

In order to receive code updates for the Lenovo B6505 and B6510 switches, a support case needs

to be opened with Lenovo with the switch machine type and serial number. Lenovo support will

provide the code once entitlement has been validated.

The delivery of firmware is standard business hours from Lenovo L3 USA - please be advised that

the firmware delivery may be next business day depending on time of the service call and location.
