Replacing the front Wi-Fi antenna
To replace the front Wi-Fi antenna, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 86.
3. Remove the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 93.
4. Locate the front Wi-Fi antenna. See "Computer components" on page 32.
5. Disconnect the front Wi-Fi antenna cable from the Wi-Fi card.
6. Peel off the front Wi-Fi antenna from the front panel, and then remove it from the chassis.

7. Peel off the release paper on the adhesive surface of the new front Wi-Fi antenna.
8. Route the new front Wi-Fi antenna cable through the corresponding hole, and then stick the front Wi-Fi
antenna to the front panel.

9. Connect the front Wi-Fi antenna cable to the Wi-Fi card.
10. Reinstall the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 93.
