The BL620c G7 server includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) connector for an optional TPM 1.2
upgrade. The TPM 1.2 option is a microcontroller chip that can securely store artifacts used to
authenticate the server platform. These artifacts can include passwords, certificates and encryption keys.
Windows® BitLocker™ Drive Encryption (BitLocker) is a data protection feature available in Windows
Server® 2008. BitLocker leverages the enhanced security capabilities of TPM version 1.2. The TPM
works with BitLocker to help protect user data and to ensure that a server operating Windows Server
2008 has not been tampered with while the system was offline.

configuration and design services as well as individual factory services, such as image loading, asset

servers and storage: HP Integrity, HP ProLiant, HP ProLiant Server Blades, HP BladeSystem, HP 9000
servers as well as the MSAxxxx, VA7xxx, EVA, XP, rackable tape libraries and configurable network
switches.
