Main Power and Control Panel Power
The machine is provided with two power switches, a main power switch and a control panel power
switch, as well as a breaker that detects excess current or leakage current.
How to Turn ON the Main Power
1
Make sure that the power plug is firmly inserted into the power outlet.
WARNING
Do not connect or disconnect the power cord with wet hands, as this may result in electrical shock.
2
If the optional Security Key is inserted into the
machine, make sure that it is in the ON
position (turn it to the right).
3
Press the main power switch to ON (" I " side).
The main power switch is located on the right
side of the machine.
If you want to turn the main power OFF, make sure that you
first turn the control panel power switch OFF, and then press
the main power switch to the " " side.
The main power indicator on the control panel lights when the
main power switch is turned ON.
IMPORTANT
• If the main power indicator on the control panel does not light even though the main power switch is ON, be
sure to check the breaker to see if it is OFF. (See "When the Power Does Not Turn ON," in the Reference
Guide.)
• Before the main power is turned OFF, make sure that you wait for at least 30 seconds after the last printing
process is finished. Otherwise, the next print output may become dirty.
