Using your BT Agile

Search alphabetically
Use your computer keyboard to search alphabetically by entering the first letter of the
name. The first name that starts with this letter or the nearest letter in the alphabet will be
displayed. You can now refine your search by scrolling

Dial a number

1. Use the handset to enter the phone number.
The number format must include the area code and number,
e.g. 0123123.

Topping up your account

Calls to BT Softphone addresses are free and calls to landlines,
mobiles or international numbers are available at low cost rates
(see Help menu). In order to make chargeable calls, you must
either link your Softphone account to a Broadband Talk account (see
www.btsoftphone.com) or top up your pay as you go (PAYG) account.
To top up your PAYG account, open the pay-as-you-go window at the
bottom of the Softphone screen, log in using your Softphone username
and password and follow the top up instructions to add credit to your
account using a credit or debit card.

1. Using the mouse, click
