As an option, if an attempt is made to start the vehicle, the horn or a siren will be activated if so equipped, until the AS-9950 is disarmed if using positive output. Using the negative output, the siren will turn off the moment the potential thief stops cranking the starter. - Page 3 BLACK WIRE FROM VALET TOGGLE SWITCH: (Ground Input) This wire provides a path to ground for all the circuits on AS-9950. This wire should be secured to the metal ground frame of vehicle or directly to the battery ground terminal. Make sure to scrape away all dirt and grease to get good ground connection.
- Page 4 AS-9950 WHITE/BLACK WIRE 18G WHITE/BLACK (12 GAUGE) AND BLACK WIRE (12 GAUGE) FROM AS-9950: (Ignition Key Starter Solenoid Wires) BLACK (12 Gauge Wire ) When in the disarmed condition this wire supplies positive 12 volts to the vehicle’s starter relay allowing the vehicle starter to engage.
