Chapter 2 Preparations
<For PCI 1B / 1C slot>
Mount the RAID controller (N8103-179) to the PCI 1B or 1C slot.
1. Remove one screw fixing the riser card, hold both edges of the riser card, and then lift it straight to
remove it from this server.
2. Remove one screw from the riser card, and remove the blank cover of the slot to which the RAID
controller is mounted.
3.
Install the RAID controller to the riser card, and connect the FBU control cable.
4.
Insert the riser card into the slot of the motherboard, and fix it by using one screw that was removed in
step 3.
