(2) IP address setting on PC

Set an IP address for the PC that enables communication with VN-E4.
1.
Click AStartB.
● Right click AMy Network PlacesB and select APropertiesB.

Select the network of the PC that will be used for Web browser operations.
● Right click and select APropertiesB.
● Check to ensure that the AClient for Microsoft NetworksB and AInternet Protocol(TCP/IP)B check boxes are selected.
3.
Select AInternet Protocol(TCP/IP)B and click APropertiesB.
4.
Set the IP address.
5.
Click AOKB in the ALocal Area Connection PropertiesB dialog box screen.

Set AIP addressB. (For use at default setting without
DHCP server, enter 192.168.0.100)
MEMO
● Always take a memo of the original IP address
before making changes.
● Do not use the same IP addresses within a LAN.

Enter appropriate values for ASubnet maskB. If unknown,
ask to your network administrator.
(For compatibility with default settings use 255.255.255.0)

If there is a ADefault gatewayB, enter the IP address.
(For example, 192.168.0.254)
