(3) Operating the viewer

"Image Selection"
Use the ACH1-CH4B buttons to select the video channel to display. Use the AAllB button to display all 4 screens. Press the
APauseB button to pause the image in each video channel. Press the button again to cancel the pause.
Press the AFull ScreenB button to enlarge the image to a full-screen display on the PC. Press the Esc key on the PC to cancel
the full screen display.
Additionally, all channels are set to encode at 15 fps in the factory settings of VN-E4U. All channels are set to encode at 12.5
fps in the factory settings of VN-E4E.
Refer to AINSTRUCTIONSB manual on procedures to alter settings of VN-E4.
"Image Capture"
Press the ACaptureB button to record images to the hard disk of the PC. AE4_JPEGB directory is created under AMy DocumentsB,
and current image(s) is saved as JPEG file(s) in the directory.
"Audio Playback"
Upon launching the built-in viewer, audio from VN-E4 may be received and played back at the viewer. Use the volume controller
on the PC to adjust the playback volume.
"Audio Transmission"
For audio transmission from PC to VN-E4, password of AoperatorB is required. Press ASetupB button on built-in viewer, enter
password of AoperatorB in the setup window. Factory setting password is Avn-e4B. Press AOKB button of the setup window, and
restart the built-in viewer.
Press the ASpeech OnB button to send audio from the PC to VN-E4. Press the button again to stop the audio transmission.
The audio transmission feature cannot be used during audio transmission by another client.
