ENGLISH
• To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every 6 months then recharge for
90 minutes.
, CHARGING VIA STANDARD ELECTRICAL SOCKET
• Ensure the product is switched off.
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
• When charging the digital display will indicate the unit is charging
• Allow 90 minutes for a complete charge.
, USB
• Connect your USB cable to the USB port on your power source.
• Connect the USB cable to your appliance.
• Do not run the clipper while connected to a USB port. It will only run off its batteries in
this condition and stop charging.
, CORDED USE
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product then to the mains.
• When the cord is connected to the mains, a digital display will be displayed on the
appliance.
• The unit will only run in corded mode when connected to the mains using the supplie
• Remington power adaptor, other USB chargers will only charge the unit
A CAUTION
Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.
, WARNING
The appliance can not be operated in corded mode while connected to a PC via the USB port.

CORDLESS USE
When the unit is switched on and fully charged, the product can be used in cordless mode for
up to 40 minutes.

ADJUSTING THE TRIM LENGTH
• First select which hair comb 1,2 or 3 for the length range desired.
• Comb 1 (1.5mm), comb 2 (3mm to 23mm), Comb 3 (22mm to 42mm). Using the comb
selection switch set the system to match the corresponding comb.
• If Comb 1 is selected, the display will always show 1.5mm or #0, as there is no
mechanical adjustment
• For Comb 2 and 3, the touch buttons can be used to adjust to the desired cutting length
following the steps below
• With comb 2 and 3, installed onto the product and the corresponding comb switch
selected adjustment can begin. Also ensure that the lock button is in the unlocked
position.
Note: If a red warning light is visible through the comb when installed, this is indication
that the comb selection switch is on the wrong setting.
• Press and hold the arrow up to increase the cutting length and down to decrease it. The

comb will move to reach each setting, the lengths will change as you hold the up/down
arrow, and the setting number will appear on the digital display.
• Select the desired boost level by pressing the boost button with the lock in the
unlocked position. The display will indicate the level.
• Once the desired length and boost level are reached, lock the system using the lock
switch. The display should show a closed lock, and the current length setting and boost
level. Proceed to use the clipper
Note: Adjustments to length and boost can be done anytime the lock switch is set to
unlock. Setting can be done with the main motor off, if the power button is pressed a
second time. To turn the main motor back on the power button needs to be pressed
again.
• Press and hold the battery icon to display the remaining battery time in minutes on the
digital display. This can be used whilst the appliance is locked.
, SWITCHING BETWEEN UNITS OF LENGTH (mm, #)
Hold the power button for 3 seconds, the display will show the change between mm and #, at
this time release the power button. The setting has been changed.
Note: If the user continues to hold the power button for 8 seconds, the system will enter reset
mode
A CAUTION
Once the digital display changes from mm to grade number, release the power button to avoid
an inadvertent restart.
NOTE: The comb must be attached to the appliance in order to use the hair length selector. To
achieve 0.4mm the comb must be removed.
, BEFORE STARTING THE CUT
• Inspect the clipper making sure that it is free from hair and dirt.
• Seat the person so that their head is approximately at your eye level.
• Before cutting, always comb the hair so it is tangle free and dry.
, TO ATTACH A COMB
• Hold the comb with its teeth upward
• Guide the comb rails into the slots on the side of the clipper head. Then push the comb
down until it seats on the adjustment arm.
, TO REMOVE THE COMB
• Holding the clipper with the blades facing away from you, firmly push the comb upward
and away from the blades.
