It utilizes the latest Intel 440BX chipset to support both 66MHz and 100MHz Front Side Bus Intel CPUs. It also provides up to 4 DIMM sockets for memory expansion. This high performance design will satisfy needs of various customers.

    Chapter 2 Installation 6240M Mainboard 2-3 SYSTEM MEMORY INSTALLATION 6240M Mainboard provides four 168-pin DIMM sockets for system memory expansion from 8MB to 512MB SDRAM, 1GB registered SDRAM or 1GB EDO DRAM. (EDO DRAM is available for 66MHz processors only.) These four DIMMs are arranged to four banks, please refer to page A.

The SETUP program is stored in the Read-Only-Memory (ROM) on the mainboard. To do the SETUP procedure, press the <Del> key when the system is booting up.
