N o t e s :
1. Each module in the HP 8642 has a nine digit nodule identification code. The first four digits comprise the
nodule configuration code. When servicing a module, note any changes that apply specifically to its nodule
configuration code.
2. All circuit boards are manufactured using 3 hot air leveled process. These boardB require extra cars when
replacing conponenta. Refer to General Service Information, paragraph 8-3.
