This car seat is classified for "Universal" use from birth to 18kg and "Semi-Univeral" use from
15-25kg. It is suitable to fix into seat positions in most cars. The numbers on the diagram
below correspond with the vehicle fitting positions listed in the following pages.
If your child restraint can be fitted, it is marked with

In rearward-facing installations the tether must be affixed securely to the front seat, seat-rail
or seatbelt anchorage point as advised in the radian 5 user manual
If your vehicle is not listed in this manual or it is not marked with either a
refer to your vehicle's handbook or contact the manufacturer for further information. Seat
positions in other cars may also be suitable to accept the child restraint. If in doubt, consult
either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
Before you purchase the vehicle, check that it is equipped with the
appropriate anchorages.
DO NOT fit your child restraint onto a vehicle seat fitted with an
airbag, unless it can be, and is deactivated. Death or serious
injuries can be caused by an activated AIRBAG system.
The front seat may have to be positioned at the furthest forward point to allow the radian 5

to be correctly installed in the back of this vehicle. Therefore it may not be suitable to install
the radian 5 behind the driver's seat or in the middle of this vehicle.
