HOW TO CLEAR A BLOCKAGE AND MAINTAIN FLOOR NOZZLE

CAUTION: Always unplug vacuum cleaner
before cleaning hose or nozzle.
The vacuum cleaner may stop automatically
if the nozzle, wand, dust bag or filters
become blocked. If this happens, unplug
and allow the vacuum to cool for 20 to 30
minutes.
1. Use a rod or similar blunt implement to

clear a blockage in wand or hose.
2. Sometimes an obstruction can be cleared
by squeezing or flexing the hose. Use
extreme care if there is a risk that glass,
nails or other sharp objects could be
imbedded in the hose.
Note: Warranty does not cover any damage
to the hose caused by cleaning it.
3. Clean hard floor and rug nozzle frequently

Cleaning the floor nozzle

to avoid deterioration of suction power.
Use crevice tool to remove dust balls, hair
or objects that may be entangled.
4. Clean turbo nozzle by vacuuming with
crevice tool. Use scissors to snip threads
or hair entangled in the brush roll, then
vacuum away.

Storing and carrying

Use handle at lower front edge of canister
to carry.
1. When you pause during cleaning, park
floor nozzle by slipping ridges into slot
on back of canister.
2. Use alternate parking position when
vacuum is stored on end.
3. For storage, press hose into clip on
tool caddy.
