Your bicycle will be delivered in a compact form to minimise
delivery costs and environmental impact. You will need to carry
out some very simple assembly prior to use.
The handlebars will need to be turned through 90º to the normal
riding position. You will need some Allen (hex) keys. Typically
4mm and 6mm sizes.
The pedals will require fitting. Please remember that the threads
are different for each side. Ensure the correct pedal is fitted and
do not force the threads, they should assemble easily. Tighten
with an appropriate spanner. (15mm).
Ensure that all fasteners are tight and secure and that all controls
operate freely and correctly. Ensure that the tyres are inflated to
the correct pressure. Check the operation of brakes and gears
before every use. If you are not confident in your mechanical
abilities then have your bicycle checked by a competent bicycle
mechanic such as your local bicyle shop.
With correct care and maintenance your Lindsey-West electric
bicycle will provide many years of reliable service.
