This section of the Settings screen contains settings for your
device.
Home Screen Mode
Select your home screen layout.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Home screen mode.
2. Touch Basic mode or Easy mode.
Basic mode is the default that is delivered on your
phone. For more information, refer to "Home Screen"
on page 21.
Easy mode provides an easier experience for first time
smartphone users from the Home screen. For example,
you can add up to three contacts to the main Home
screen. The extended Home screens contain favorite
apps and favorite settings, and you can add three apps
the you choose.
3. Touch Apply.

Note: When switching between the Basic and Easy modes,
your customizations are saved and will be available
when you switch back to that mode.
Blocking Mode
When enabled, notifications for selected features are
disabled.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Blocking mode.
2. Touch the OFF / ON icon
mode ON.
3. Touch the check box next to a feature to enable it.
Selections are: Disable incoming calls, Disable
notifications, and Disable alarm and timer.
A check mark

4. Touch the Always field to disable it and configure the
From and To time fields.
5. Touch Allowed contacts to assign contacts that are
exempted from these rules. Choose None, All contacts,
Favorites, or Custom.
