You can activate or deactivate both touch and screen lock
sounds.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Sound.
2. Touch the check box next to any of the following
options to activate the feature:
• Dialing keypad tone: Makes a sound when you touch a key on
the dialing keypad.
• Touch sounds: Makes a sound when you touch the screen.
• Screen lock sound: Makes a sound when your screen is
locked or unlocked.
A check mark
feature is enabled.
Display
In this menu, you can change various settings for the display.
From a Home screen, touch
Display.
The following options display:
Apps
appears in the check box when the

• Wallpaper: Choose a picture to display on the Home screen,
Lock screen, or Home and lock screens.

Settings
• Page buddy: Touch the OFF / ON icon
Page buddy ON. Touch Page buddy and touch a check box to
enable Earphone page, Docking page, and Roaming page.

• Brightness: To set the default screen brightness, drag the
slider, and touch OK.
• Auto-rotate screen: When this option is checked, the screen
orientation changes when you rotate the device. When this
option is not checked, the screen orientation locks in the
current orientation (landscape or portrait) and the orientation
does not change when you rotate the device.
Tip: Touch and swipe downward from the top of the screen to
display the Quick Settings pop-up. Touch Screen rotation
to enable or disable the auto-rotate feature. For more
