INSTALLATION OF A BATTERY EXTENSION PACK

With a battery extension pack you can increase the battery runtime of the UPS. If you do not install a battery extension
pack please skip this section and proceed with chapter 4.
NOTE
The battery extension packs are suitable if connectable to circuits directly connected to mains and
compliant with the following:
Nominal Voltage (Vdc): 72
Nominal Capacity (Ah): 14
Recharge Current (A): 1.5
The following actions must be performed by qualified and skilled personnel only.
1.
Connect the DC connector of the battery pack to the DC socket of the UPS (fig. 3.5.a). You will hear a click when the
cable is properly connected. Block the DC connector: install the small locking plate that came with the battery
pack, and fasten it with the screw provided.
2.
Install the first battery pack under the UPS, and position additional packs next to it, according to figure 3.5.b.
