Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below to find possible solutions to some problems you may experience
with your refrigerator.
Possible Cause
Food packages are
blocking the door seals and
preventing the doors from
closing.
Ice bin, crisper cover, pans,
shelves, door bins, or
baskets are out of position.
The doors were removed
during installation and not
replaced correctly.
Refrigerator is not leveled
properly.
The door hinges are
damaged.
Door was recently closed.
The gaskets are dirty or
sticky.
Refrigerator legs are not
adjusted and secured
properly.
Floor is not level.
Bulb strip needs to be
replaced or relay board
needs to be serviced.
Rearrange food items and containers to clear the area
around the door opening.
Make sure bottles are not leaning out of the door bins.
Close drawers and covers completely.
Make sure all bins are fully seated and snapped into position.
Remove and replace the doors according to the Installation
Instructions.
Refer to the Installation Instructions.
Please call Dacor Customer Service listed at the front of this
manual.
When you open the door, warmer air enters the refrigerator.
As the warm air cools, it can create a vacuum. If the door
is hard to open, wait one minute to allow the air pressure to
equalize, then see if it opens more easily.
Clean the gaskets and the surfaces that they touch. Rub a
thin coat of appliance polish or kitchen wax on the gaskets
after cleaning.
Refer to the Installation Instructions.
It may be necessary to add shims under the legs or rollers to
stabilize the refrigerator.
These are not serviceable by the consumer.
Please call Dacor Customer Service listed at the front of this
manual.
