Problem
Ice Maker Not
Making Enough

Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below to find possible solutions to some problems you may experience
with your refrigerator.
Possible Cause
Demand exceeds ice storage
capacity.
House water supply is not
connected, valve is not fully
opened, or valve is clogged.
Water filter has been
exhausted.
Low house water supply
pressure.
Household Reverse Osmosis

Water supply tubing is kinked. The water line tubing can kink when the refrigerator is
The ice maker will produce approximately 100 cubes in a
24-hour period.
Connect the refrigerator to a cold water supply with
adequate pressure. Make sure the water shutoff valve is
fully open.
If the problem persists, it may be necessary to contact a
plumber.
It is recommended that you replace the water filter:
• Approximately every six months.
• When the water filter indicator turns on.
• When the water dispenser output decreases.
• When the ice cubes are smaller than normal.
The water pressure must be between 30 and 120 psi.
Make sure the supply valve is fully open.
If the problem persists, it may be necessary to contact a
plumber.
Household water supply's reverse osmosis filtration system
can reduce the water pressure below the minimum amount
required. This can create ice maker issues. (Refer to the
Installation Instructions for more information.)
