Setting up the Program

To update your maps and the application, as well as to purchase new maps,
you can use a special program that we have designed specifically for these
purposes. You can download the program from the "Downloads" section of
the official NAVITEL® website. The instructions below will help you to learn
how to work with it.
First, it is necessary to set up the program:

1. Download Navitel Navigator Updater from the "Downloads" section
of the official NAVITEL® website to your PC and install it using the
Windows installation wizard.
2. Connect the portable navigation device to the PC in the external
storage mode.
3. Run Navitel Navigator Update Center.
The program will search for your device. If the device has been
connected properly, the program will detect it [1].
4. Select the device and press "Next".
The program will search for the installed Navitel Navigator and for
available updates [2].
In the "Description" block you can see whether your current version of
the application is up to date. Press "Next" to continue.
Attention: If the Navitel Navigator Update Center software did not find
the Navitel Navigator executable file, you can set the path to the file
manually by using the "Select" button.
