    Instead of the fax machine you can connect an analogue phone or a door bell ¢ page 3 with two-way intercom to your Gigaset’s FAX port. From now on you can make internal calls via the Fax port and transfer calls to other handsets.

    Connecting a phone or a doorline to the FAX port This section extends the section „Connecting/Using other devices - connecting a fax machine (ISDN)“ in the user guide for your Gigaset phone. Instead of a fax machine you can connect an analogue telephone or a corded ana- logue doorline interface device (Doorline Type 2) to the base via the FAX port.
