Note: A fuel stabilizer/conditioner is most effective
when mixed with fresh gasoline. To minimize the
chance of varnish deposits in the fuel system, use fuel
stabilizer at all times.
Filling the Fuel Tank
Important: Do not over fill the fuel tank. Fill
the fuel tank to the bottom of the filler neck. The
empty space in the tank allows the fuel to expand.
Overfilling may result in fuel leakage or damage to
the engine or emission system.
1. Shut the engine off and set the parking brake.
2. Clean around each fuel tank cap and remove the cap.
3. Add unleaded regular gasoline to both fuel tanks
until the body of the tank is full but the fuel does
not fill the neck of the tank (Figure 7 and Figure 8).
This space in the neck of the tank allows gasoline to
expand. Do not fill the fuel tanks completely full.
