SAR
Your phone meets the SAR requirements for exposure
to radio waves, recommended by Govt. of India. Your
mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is
designed and manufactured so as not to exceed the
limits for exposure to radio‐frequency (RF) energy, as
recommended by the Govt. of India. These limits are
part of comprehensive guidelines and establish
permitted levels of RF energy for the general population.
The limits include a substantial safety margin designed
to ensure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and
health.
The exposure standard for mobile phones employs a
unit of measurement known as SAR (Specific Absorption
Rate). The SAR limit recommended by the Govt. Of India
is 1.6 Watt/kg taken over a volume containing a mass of
1 gram of tissue. The highest SAR value for A31 is 0.942
W/Kg. Press *#07# to check the SAR value on your
phone display.
