Check a camcorder is not connected to the computer.

Close any programs that are running.

Set the DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK in the computer's CD-
ROM drive.

Select your language.

• To install the software individually, select
[Custom Installation]. When you select
[Custom Installation], select a USB driver.
(Windows XP: The USB driver supplied with
the Windows operating system is used. You
do not need to install a USB driver.)

Select your country/region and click [Next].

Read the license agreement and click [Yes].

Review the installation settings and click [Next].

• Installation starts.
• If the "Digital signature not found" message
appears, click [Yes].

When installation is complete, select [Yes, I want to restart my
computer now.] and click [Finish].

After the computer has restarted, copy and read the PDF
manual enclosed in the DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK.
1) Select [My Computer] from the [start] menu.
2) Right-Click the CD-ROM icon and select [Open] from the displayed menu.
3) Double-click the [MANUAL] folder followed by the [ENGLISH] and [DIGITAL
VIDEO SOFTWARE] folders.
4) Drag and drop the PDF manual icon to the desired destination folder.
5) Double-click [DIGITAL VIDEOVxxWENG N.PDF].
Adobe Reader is required to view the PDF manual. If you do not have the
software installed on your computer, please download it from the following
website.
http://www.adobe.com

Connect the camcorder to the computer and start downloading
the images recorded on the memory card.
Windows 98/Windows Me/Windows 2000: At this point, the files for the TWAIN
Driver or WIA Driver have only been copied to your computer. To download images
via USB connection, finish installing the TWAIN Driver or the WIA Driver. For
details, see step 4 in Before Downloading Images in the PDF manual.
